The DMAT app is intended to foster discussion between healthcare professionals and patients regarding selection of a dialysis modality. This tool enables healthcare professionals to:
• Use information about patients’ clinical cases and about lifestyle factors that may influence the selection of a dialysis modality;
• Review the pros and cons of different dialysis modalities (i.e. ICHD, HHD, APD, CAPD) with patients;
• Start discussions with patients about how various dialysis modalities could impact their lifestyles;
• Produce summary portraits for patient cases, including lists of pros and cons for each choice of dialysis modality.
The DMAT app is intended for healthcare professionals only. Users must contact a Baxter representative to receive an access code.
By accessing or using the DMAT app, the user agrees to abide by the Dialysis Modality Assessment Application Terms of Use and Disclaimer. For a full description of these Terms of Use and Disclaimer, please refer to the downloaded app.
